The trimming machine is a working machine that, applied to the front part of the tractor, operates thanks to an hydraulic feeding and it is endowed with one or more cutting units. It can be used in viticulture both for lopping vineyards still green and for stripping them of their shoots which can damage the tree natural growth and its consequent fructification. It substitutes the manual work done by the side of the row or over it.
The leaf trimmer is an operating machine that, applied in the front side of the tractor, operates thanks to hydraulic feeding. It is equipped with a fan that aspirates the leaves and with a series of rollers that remove the aspired leaves. There’s the possibility of mounting an anterior pre-cutting blade, for a better reduction of vegetation. The machine allows the elimination of basal leaves in order to improve the microclimate in bunches zone, it increases their exposure to the light and it helps the air circulation. Working times are 70% reduced and in proximity of grape harvest it makes the vintage easier.
The new B.M.V. dry pruner is used for winter pruning of the espalier system vineyard (spur pruned cordon) and it’s useful to eliminate all vegetal part of the gone season (by now wooden part) that is settled upwards the fruitful line, among row supporting cables; this allows a final saving of 50-60% on labour. The machine is applied in front of the tractor, and it operates by hydraulic power.
The vine shoot remover works in taking away the vegetation on vine trunks, thanks to special whips in special rubber (reinforced with canvas), especially developed for vine shoot removing. It is specially made for working in vineyard with high stems. The exclusive system of automatic roller retraction allows a very easy operation, making the machine suitable for any kind of plantation and ground. It is equipped with two hydraulic movements in height and width, with a floating roller adjustable with a spring that allows a smooth working around the trunks; the rotation is hydraulic and the rotor speed regulation can be controlled by the hydraulic flux regulator supplied with the machine.
