The new leaf trimmer BMV model "DF200" consents the elimination of the lower leaves, improving the bunches microclimate, increasing their exposure to the light and favoring the air circulation.
In proximity of grape harvest these operations make easier the harvest itself.
Working times are reduced of the 70%.
The machine is protected against impacts thanks to a mechanical device.
The use of 2 cutting blades has the aim to obtain an optimal final result: the first forward blade thins the vegetation whereas the second one, put near the suction pipe, cuts the aspired leaves stem.
The cut is protected by a special shelter that prevents the bunch from having a dangerous contact with the blades.
This leaf trimmer has been studied to be fit mostly on tracked mini-tractors, considering its lightness and simplicity.
The power is provided by the tracked mini-tractor intakes or, on demand, by an independent hydraulic unit.
The 2 hydraulic movements – rise, sideways movement – enable the machine to better adapt to the rows.
